About Frances
Before photography became her passion, Frances Iacuzzi lived and breathed soccer. Raised in the suburbs of Chicago, she went on to play Division I collegiate soccer at Colgate University, becoming the school’s first female soccer scholarship athlete. After four unforgettable years on the field, Frances found herself facing an unexpected void—one that would eventually lead her toward travel, self-discovery, and, most importantly, storytelling through the lens.
Camera always in hand during her travels, Frances rediscovered a familiar sense of purpose—one that mirrored the focus, joy, and drive she once felt in athletics. Her passion deepened after moving to Los Angeles, where she worked alongside renowned photographer Justine Ungaro. Inspired by that experience, she invested in her first professional camera and began formal training at the Los Angeles Center of Photography to refine her craft.
Over the years, Frances has photographed a wide range of clients, including celebrities such as Britney Spears, Steve Carell, Neil Patrick Harris, Lisa Loeb, Fergie, and others. Yet no matter who steps in front of her lens, her goal remains the same: to create authentic, timeless images that reflect real emotion and meaningful moments.
